Dr. Traci Szemkus Unique to Chiropractic When Dr. Traci Szemkus graduated Palmer College of Chiropractic in Davenport, IA, she decided to take a path most graduates wouldn't dare take. She decided she would opt not to practice the art and science of chiropractic, instead combine her innovative, creative touch along with her extensive educational background to build a company that would shine well-deserved light on chiropractic, an industry that can be so misunderstood.
"I wanted to design and build a NUCCA chiropractic company that would be so unique to the profession it would grab the attention of the public and give opportunities for aspiring doctors that are currently not available in the industry. I wanted the public to realize what an effective, low cost, high quality option they had in chiropractic. I see people in excruciating pain, on several different drugs, finding excuses and self-judgments on how it started. I think to myself, a migraine in many cases is the first symptom to go after an adjustment, why aren't they trying it?"
"I also see very limited options for chiropractic students after graduation. While working in an established doctor's office as an associate is an option, it has proven to be notoriously difficult, often with low pay and unrealistic hours. Another popular choice has been to start up a clinic, based on the limited business classes provided through the colleges and lack of funding resources this has also been challenging. I want to provide them with an opportunity to establish a well-deserved dream career that focuses on work-life balance, strong emphasis on business systems for support, fair compensation and the opportunity to focus on what is important; their patients, their families and their future."
